H1N1

Honey vs Swine Flu -H1N1
Swine flu (H1N1) is a viral infection that causes a respiratory disease in pigs. This is caused by a type A flu virus (swine influenza virus) that usually does not infect humans.

Close interaction with pigs and viral mutation allows the virus to be transmitted from pig to human (zoonotic infection). This human-pig transmission does not mean that this current epidemic is isolated to those farm workers with close interaction with pigs. Swine flu can be transmitted from human to human and it is this human-human transmission that proves to be the most worrying.

Flu is caused by a virus, spread by droplet infection. By Coughs and sneezes from people who have caught the virus and it can spread very rapidly.

Typical symptoms include a high fever, aching limbs, sore throat, cough and general weakness

Treat Swine flu with honey´ urges doctor...
A Croatian doctor has come up with a rather unconventional way of tackling the global swine flu outbreak - household honey.According to doctor Josip Loncar from Bjelovar in northern Croatia, people worried about contracting the disease should "eat up to four spoons of honey every day.""Honey is a cheap and easy to get prevention", insists doctor Josip Loncar.
